Your Excellencies, Chere Dames de la Chaine, Cher Confreres,

Dear Friends of good wine, excellent food and the camaraderie of the table

We have waited for a long time; the Chaîne took 3 attempts to be founded in Ethiopia, but finally, tonight we made it together to bring this wonderful association to life in our beloved Ethiopia.

I sincerely hope you feel the same pride and joy to join our exclusive and immersive brother - sisterhood as a new member. For myself, as a member for 27 years, it is a wonderful moment to reflect on those countless great dinners by great chefs with great friends around those round tables.

As your Bailli and speaking for our National Officers, I do look forward to arranging and participating in many great moments, culinary experiences and dinners with you in the future.

Please enjoy this special evening and I do wish you a wonderful time in our Association.
